I love the new John Mayer album. I hate moving.
John Mayer-Continuum + moving = an average evening.
Something else that sucks about moving (besides all the hard work), is that this is the last night I’ll have internet access in my place. I can’t afford to put internet in the new place. Dial up, maybe? Can my computer even do dial-up?
Anyway, back to John Mayer. It’s a shame he’s not a Christian. His music would probably be completely different then. I probably wouldn’t like it. I don’t know why I support John’s music. I don’t support his lifestyle at all, and sometimes I question if there’s a line between the two.
I currently own two of his cd’s: Heavier Things and Continuum. iTunes has placed ‘Heavier Things’ in the rock genre and ‘Continuum’ in the blues genre and I think that’s why I like it so much. He’s breaking out of his ‘pretty boy’ mold and making music that he loves. People probably hate it for the same reason. I think my dad would like this cd. I would put it in the blues/funk genre. There are also some ‘Columbia Records’ pop aspects as well.
I don’t think tonight is the night to bash his lifestyle.
I also wish I had a picture to put up. I’ll work on that. I’ve got some really great ones from this past weekend.
