Hmm… Like the definition of ministry? A specific area in which one chooses to lay down their life and serve another for the glory of God. The method with which you spread the gospel of Christ whether directly or indirectly.
And if that’s not what you wanted, well then ask it again, lol!

Rather than rushing to a Bible Dictionary (too easy?) I prefer to see what Scripture can teach me first. Ephesians 4:12 tells us that the gifted leaders of the church are equippers of the saints so they can do the work of “ministry” (KJV). That word is “diaconia” meaning “serving” and is translated “the work of service” in the NAS. Paul next qualifies that by adding “…to the building up of the body of Christ.” So, my personal definition is: “Ministry is anything I do for others in the name of Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit that builds them up as followers of Christ, especially in the context of the local church.”
